Waardenburg syndrome (WS) is a rare genetically
heterogeneous inherited disorder characterized by
sensorineural hearing loss, pigmentary disturbances
of the skin, hair and iris and dystopia canthorum
(lateral displacement of both medial canthai and
lacrimal puncta)1.
